Message from CEO
Nowadays, social economy in Japan is changing drastically under the waves of "Globalization" and we are forced to experience difficulties such as high-unemployment rates, steep price of Yen and declining population of young generation.
Industrial structure reform is also taking place, such as shifting from analogue to digital products, or from gasoline cars to EVs.
In the area of Accounting, momentum for applying IFRS is growing since the "Tokyo Agreement" between IASB and ASBJ in August 2007, and we expect mandatory application of IFRS for listed companies, from 2015 at the earliest.
Some say this will be a complete turnaround of perspective: shifting from "Rule-based, P/L oriented and Cost-based" accounting to "Principle-based, B/S oriented and Fair value-based" accounting.
We are taking this challenging environment as an opportunity for a leap and aim to provide high quality service based on the commitment of each professional and the organization as a whole.
We also put high priority in providing timely services. Taking advantage of medium-sized organization we always keep the information in common and aim to cut the lead time short.
We are proud to celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2010 since the establishment of "Kato Audit Corporation" in 1980, and we aim to be, just as before, a reliable organization for our clients in coming years.
